DIGITAL EDUCATION REVOLUTION (DER)
Parent information packages concerning the Digital Education Revolution and laptops for Year 9 students will be distributed to parents in the near future. A parent information evening will be held at the school within the next few weeks.
Many staff have been engaging in extensive professional development courses this term and during the holidays under the leadership of Head Teacher Teaching and Learning, Ms Janene Van Gogh.
This week Paul Colquhorn began his appointment to Killarney Heights High School as the DER Technology Support Officer.
YEAR 12
Year 12 have been very busy this term undertaking Trial HSC Examinations and also preparing for HSC performances and finalising HSC major works. It is vital that students are in full attendance for the remainder of the term as they complete courses of study and engage in extensive revision in order to maximise their success in the HSC.
All assessment marks (50% of their results) will be moderated by the results achieved by the school in the HSC exams for each course.
We wish Year 12 every success for their HSC performances and major works due this term and in the HSC examinations during Term 4.
